2.8 mil High Gloss Calendered Film
Series 5000 is 2.8 mils, and is Arlon’s thinnest calendered film, making it one of the most pliable calendered films on the market. This product has a high gloss finish, and is ideal for signs, graphics or displays requiring vibrant, glossy color. This new film is available in 39 bright colors, provides excellent cutting and weeding for improved productivity and has an outdoor durability rating of up to 6 years.
Growing in popularity, calendered products have become versatile in general usage where long-term durability is not critical. Several intermediate grades are offered with surface finishes ranging from satin, to gloss and high gloss and outdoor ratings up to six years. Normally restricted to flat and mild curved surfaces, Calendered products are most often used for banners, shorter term signage, displays, trade show graphics, vehicle graphics, real estate signage, and promotional/merchandizing graphics.
Actual weathering durability depends on surface preparation, surface maintenance and exposure conditions. Successful weather resistance is characterized by the retention of legibility.
