Metallic base coat colors which cover opaque.
Apply over 4000 Series Sealer.
E.g. Apply 4332 Metallic Silver & 4337 Metallic Blue Silver over a grey sealer base made by mixing 4001 Sealer White & 4002 Sealer Dark.
Metallic Colors make excellent bases for 4600 Series Candy Colors. 4331 White (coarse) used in color chart as base for brighter valued candy colors, such as 4601 Candy Yellow.
4330 & 4331 Metallic Whites do not have a yellow side-cast as compared to 4301 Pearl White. However, Pearl White has a brighter white look on the direct-view whereas the Metallic Whites have a slight blue-grey shade.
Metallic Silvers, Gold and Copper are considered a more authentic finish than the same colors in the Pearlized Colors range, in our opinion.
Metallic Burnt Orange has a weaker covering strength than other Metallic Colors. Applying over a tinted sealer base made by mixing 4001 Sealer White with either 4205 Flame Orange or 4233 Transparent Orange greatly improves coverage.
